Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make The Eye Gallery a proud provider of vision care products and services in Kihei.

Alicia Van, O.D.

Dr. Alicia Van graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She also has Bachelor of Science degrees in nutrition and biology.

Dr. Van regularly does charity work and participates in international humanitarian aid. She has been on numerous trips to developing countries to provide free eye care to underprivileged individuals.

Dr. Van is also dedicated to helping the local community. In the past, she volunteered to give eye examinations on Molokai and in Hana through the Give the Gift of Sight Charity Organization. She has worked with the Kihei Sunrise Rotary Club to conduct vision screenings of children. Her office also provided free eyecare, contact lenses, and over 150 pairs of eyeglasses to the 2023 Maui fire survivors.

Dr. Van moved to Maui in 2006. She met and married her husband on this beautiful island. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, traveling, cooking, and learning about different cultures.
